Spice It Up With Ragin' Cajun Smash Burgers

Smash burgers are typically flatter than a regular burger and covered in cheese.

Our flavor-filled version uses grilled onions along with our Ragin' Cajun dip mix.



1/2lb Ground Beef (or Turkey)

One Onion

One tsp

2 slices of Sharp Cheddar

2 slices of Colby Jack

1/4 Packet Ragin' Cajun

Salt (to taste)

Fresh Onion Rolls


1/2 Cup Mayo

2 Ketchup

1/4 Packet Ragin' Cajun


Mix ingredients for aioli together and refrigerate for at least one hour. Adjust the amount of mix based on your preference in level of spiciness.

Cut onion into thin slices. Coat with Olive Oil and Salt to taste. Cook on low heat using a griddle on an outdoor grill or on an indoor stovetop until caramelized.

Mix 1/4 pack of Ragin' Cajun into ground beef. Salt lightly. Form into 3/4 inch patties. Place on grill on medium-high heat. After bottom side is brown (2 minutes), flip and top with caramelized onions. "Smash" onions into patty so it's about 1/2" thick. Cook about 2 more minutes and top with cheddar and colby jack. Cook until cheese is melted.

Spread aioli onto onion rolls and place burger on top.
