A delightful blend of sweet and tangy, bread and butter pickles add a little crunch to a sandwich or are tasty right out of the jar.
Bread and Butter Pickle Mix
Salt, Mustard Seed, Turmeric, Celery Seed.
Mix it Up
Slice 6 large cucumbers and one cup of onions. Place in an airtight container (large mason jars work well). Mix packet with 3 cups of Distilled White Vinegar, 3 cups of sugar, 1 cup of water. Mix and pour over cucumbers. Refrigerate for 48 hours.
Peppers, celery, carrots, broccoli, cabbage or cauliflower are also great pickled.
